I must link to Lying Media Bastards and specifically this entry by Jake, “Star Striped Tongue”.

The Partner and I were only able to listen to the first 7 or 8 minutes of Bush’s speech the other evening. I had screamed FUCK YOU for the last time and hearing him talk for a second longer would have caused me to start cutting people.

But reading it, reading that speech of bullshit is another thing. And reading it with Jake’s comments — that makes it more easy to read. It doesn’t make it right, but at least you can laugh through the pain.
