We spent our holiday with family and friends, which included a lovely Polish dinner at one house:

Proof that I am truly the Antichrist: while my family was bowing their heads in prayer before filing their plates, I was taking their picture.

It was not intentional; I was doing my job as Family Photographer® and they started saying prayer, so I figured, “Screw it. I’m taking the picture.”
We had Christmas morning at another house (see first picture above), and we made sure to include all animalchildren.

George is truly a dogchild; he immediately sniffed out the bag with his gifts and we had to spend the entire morning wrestling with him. His large Cocker paws come in handy, though, for ripping open his tissue paper-wrapped gifts.

Less than one minute after he snarfed this treat down he puked it all back up.
The absolute best gift I received this year is:

This stocking was made by hand by The Partner’s mum to match the other family stockings. It signifies my official membership in the family — permission of the State not required.
And while Pea has often shared with us her obsession fixation fetish undying love of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, I have never shared my obsession preoccupation mania love, which was fueled this holiday season:

For real crazy, though, take a drive up to Munster, Indiana, to see this house, located on Ridge Road:

This display of electrical waste is by far the best I have yet to see this season.
How was your holiday?
