Tomorrow morning we will be picking up a rental car, driving back home to pack it up, and heading out for New Orleans. We aim to be on the interstate no later than 9:45am and hopefully we’ll arrive in the Quarter no later than midnight. We’ll be back at some point next weekend.

I have never needed a vacation this badly before, so I am extremely excited.

I’m not sure what sort of Internet connection we’ll be able to get, so I may not be able to post or moderate comments.

But rest assured: I will bring back a ton of pictures to share.
