This afternoon, I turned in my last undergraduate paper EVER, entitled “QueerTube: Sexuality and Identity on YouTube”. I’ve mentioned that I love YouTube, right?
And I picked up my cap and gown.
Besides having to turn in an extra credit piece tomorrow afternoon for a really crappy music class — I AM DONE.
Drinks at our place tomorrow night!

this is fantastic.
i’m unbelievably happy and excited for you!
you rock.
no, seriously.
saying that i’m happy for you doesn’t even really cover it!
so instead i’ll just do this…
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much, Pea!!
(Did you get a blank screen after clicking Submit?)
i did. and i was afraid to hit refresh in case that broke anything so instead i loaded opened a new window to check if my comment had gone through. because i’m nerdily anal like that.
So strange.
I’ll have to fix this later.
If you are having drinks at your place, can I come over, too?
Congrats! I am so proud of you. It has been an amazing journey to observe as you traveled all this way. I am glad you are going through the ceremony, too. Those who don’t later regret it–right LHB??
Of course you are welcome for drinks, Billie!
I’m mostly going through commencement for my family, and a little bit for myself, but mostly my family, who have supported me through this.
It has been a great journey.
Yea!! Good for you, Anne.
Thank you, Nio!
congrats! sounds like a cool paper too.
(and I hear you on the music class crappiness. It was “The Concert Season” and “Intro to music theory” near the end of undergrad for me. I knew I should’ve dropped the latter when the professor started to clean the overhead slides by spitting all over them…)
Thanks, Luke!
I’ve had instructors use their spit to clean overheads, too. It always creeped me out. (Isn’t that a biohazard?) One professor only carried permanent markers with him, so his slides were a mess by the end of the class. It’d still prefer that over spit.
