Which one of you didn’t like the in-line post preview in WordPress?

I’m always a little late to update things, so I only recently (as in, last week) updated to WordPress 2.2 and, as I haven’t really been posting much, I haven’t noticed all the changes in this version yet. I did, however, notice while attempting to post the other day* the in-line post preview was gone. Who thought it would be a good idea to take it out and replace it with a link that says “Preview”, which I have to open in a completely new tab and which, furthermore, isn’t quite positioned all that great for those of us who use the formatting quick tags?

Luckily, Rob of Roblog came up with a plugin to put it back.

Preview, I love you hard.
