Ouch! Education Sure Ain’t Cheap.

I just made a first payment toward my student loans! These are just my federal loans; the loans through my alma matar come due in March of next year. SCARY!

Generation Chickenhawk

Here’s an interesting video I just watched at onegoodmove, “Generation Chickenhawk: The Unauthorized College Republican National Convention Tour” by Max Blumenthal. It’s a very short documentary of sorts.

Not bad for under eight minutes. Though I was left wondering what would have happened if he hadn’t started his “interpretive dance”.

The Partner and I are currently at the coffee shop, enjoying this beautiful July day (no humidity for once!). There’s a dude sitting next to us, repeating “I hate so many people here [at the coffee shop]” in his conversation, a freshly married acquaintance is here, folks are reading, talking, smoking, drinking.
