Too Many Possibilities

I’m knitting a blanket and am trying to figure out the color combination I should use. The recipient told me they like cool colors (which are purples, blues, and greens; recipient told me “blues, greens, and grays” specifically) and here are some configurations I’ve put together:

Combo 1 (can click to enlarge):

Combo 2:

Combo 3:

Combo 4:

Combo 5:

Combo 6:

Combo 7:

Combo 8:

I’m partial to #1, #3, and #4, but there are many combinations possible.

Which one or two do you prefer? Do you have any other suggestions?

    I like #1 and #4.

#1 is the original and incorporates more blues, I think.

The pattern I’m using as a jumping point recommended a way-expensive yarn (and I need 20 balls of it!), so I’m using an alternative which only comes in 10 colors, with only two blues and one green (and no gray).

Thank you for your picks, Pea; it may have to be put to a coin toss!

Hello there Anne, I must say that as much as I am enjoying PA, which is a lot, I still miss the faces and company of Anne and [The Partner]. As I told [The Partner] before, you should apply for grad school here and we will live here and have a progressive life with rainbows and ponies. Anyways, my vote is for number 4 and thank you for taking care of Kit Kat. Give her a huge rub on the ear for me.

    Love from 2 states away,

    Vicki

    I’m partial to #5.

Also, HELLO VICKI! I heard a nasty rumor that you cut your rattail. This isn’t true, is it?

    Lauren,

I thought I dispelled that rumor; I explained it to Chef, although you were on the couch in a numbed and drugged state, and he must of failed at relaying it to you: the hair was buzzed, but the sweet chunk that is the rattail remains.

    I’m going with Combo #4.

Thanks to those of you who gave your picks!
