What bothers me is the audience. The young man was *begging* for help and no one moved from their seats. It was <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bystander_effect" rel="nofollow">Kitty Genovese</a> all over again: no one did anything. Not the audience members, not Kerry. They watched, and heard, a young man begging for help and received none. Unless Kerry left the stage while the young man was being assaulted, he knew what was going on and still did nothing. I saw the video a couple days ago and I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to watch it again.
