Wonky
Things are messed up around here.
My previous theme generated errors with the new version of WordPress, and this theme seems to be having problems with the comments — when you submit your comment the box entirely disappears into itself. (Then again, this may just be how it operates now.)
Anything else I’m not aware of?

I’ve never had a problem. Maybe go with a simpler theme. That’s what I did. I was trying to edit my old theme and couldn’t even tell what I was doing. My theme now, I can actually understand the code.

The previous theme was a simpler theme. However, I prefer to have my WordPress installation up-to-date and the two did not play well together so it’s in time-out. I also had other issues with it, such as it being a “sponsored theme“. This fiasco was a kick in the pants to finally do something about it. Live and learn.
More simplistic themes do not allow for the things I want on my site. Although I could modify the one you have, for example, I had a stint with K2 a while back so I knew what I was getting into as far as code is concerned; it was relatively easy to style/adjust.
So there.
I must say that these last couple entries seem like you are annoyed. I wouldn’t even know why! haha
The best thing you can do is turn off the AJAX if you’re irritated with the commenting widgety thingies. On the other hand, I really want to get my theme updated so I can do the sidebar widgets.
I’ll be hounding the forum today to see if someone can figure out the comment box thing.
I only have a core set of plugins activated currently, as one or more are calling the post2cat table, which was eradicated in the new WP. Deleting a table is akin to wanting your ring sized the right way: it creates major fucking problems.
And FYI: The K2 sidebar modules currently doesn’t work for some (including me), but they are working on a solution. I’m not able to access the SBM, it just says it’s loading.
I’d stick with your current version for now, unless you have a horribly old one and you plan on also updating your WP, because the two will not work together due to the changes in the WP core (the categories thing). I recommend you keep a backup copy of the old K2, that way if it doesn’t work you can reinstall the older version.
