awesome. can’t wait!
soooo……it’s, like, about welding the Enterprise and construction and stuff? The next Star Trek movie is going to be called GeriatTrek: This Shit is Gettin’ Old (But We Know You Will Watch it Anyway Out of Respect).
I love Star Trek, but I think it’s time they moved into some new territory. I would like it if they explored the Next Generation crew more because the characters are more interesting.
Looking at the IMDB page, I was surprised to see that Shatner isn’t in this one, but Leonard Nimoy is. And so is Winnona Ryder.
Ha!
I, too, much prefer TNG. I won’t see this because of some notion of respect, but curiosity: what the hell is there to tell?
Also, I see Simon Pegg will be playing Scotty.
Wasn’t there a whole series with Scot Bakula about the early years of the original enterprise? I never saw it, so maybe I am imagining things.
I hope Simon Pegg gets to battle zombies in the movie, or shoot up a town full of old people.
Scott Bakula? He had his own Star Trek-esque series–but it was on USA, and I don’t know how much I can count it. I think by that time I had stopped watching teevee, though, so I never saw it either.
I do know I watched “Quantum Leap” when I was younger.
I’m trying to imagine a Star Trek with zombies.
