@bedwetter: The reason behind our trial of white port is due to the song "WPLJ" by Frank Zappa. So not only did we have to try white port, but we had to try white port WITH lemon juice. It's one of those drinks where if you had been here, we would have been at your door with a glass making you taste some just for the reaction. I've had regular port and it is truly nowhere near as awful.

mmmmm…port. The part of Australia I live in is famous for its port (and muscats – which tastes a bit more raisiny). Never had white port though. I’m gonna have to try it now, just to see how awful it is.

Once you start cutting your own hair it’s hard to stop. I cut mine all the time and only go get it done professionally every six-eight months or so to clean up my weirdnesses.

Nichole: Cutting one’s hair is much easier than you’d think. I’m not sure if I’d highly recommend it, though. But, if it turns out bad, you can always run to the hair salon and get it quickly fixed or wait for it to grow.

bedwetter: I had a friend in high school who was a cyclist and would shave most of his body hair for races. I also knew a guy who shaved his body hair because he preferred it that way. I cannot imagine shaving my arm hair, for example. That’s just nuts.

And yes, there was drinking of wine, although it is now Three Buck Chuck. And some cherry wine from local wineries up in Michigan during our vacation. MMmmm. Cherry wine. And bourbon. I love me some bourbon. And some really, really bad white port. Holy fuck is white port awful.

I cut my own hair once, except it wasn’t on my head – I shaved my chest once because I was bored. Kind of a bad idea. I’m glad your hair cutting experience has been better.
